MNR Electric was there in a hurry to provide emergency temporary power for Northern Lights Hospital, Fort McMurray, Alberta in 2016 after a devastating wildfire.
On May 1, 2016, a wildfire began southwest of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. On that day, it swept through the community, forcing the largest wildfire evacuation in Alberta's history, with upwards of 88,000 people forced from their homes.
After that terrible 2016 fire left this hospital without power and it's patients in danger, our Edmonton electricians were quick to provide the hospital with emergency temporary power, keeping them in operation. Our skilled electricians then reinstalled all the lighting, and all the speakers.
This intense and large specialized electrical project was completed under strict regulations for safety, cleanliness and very particular operating procedures. We worked together with other specified disaster recovery contractors to provide a quality end result to the electrical project for the hospital.
